What our customers say

Our Services

Types of fencing we install

Whatever you need to enclose, mark out or make secure, we supply and fit the right type of fence for the job across Nottingham.

Close board & feather edge fencing

Our most popular garden fencing, strong, private and long-lasting. Vertical feather edge boards on rails and posts make a solid, secure boundary that looks great for years.

Garden panel fencing

Lap, overlap and decorative fence panels, a quick, cost-effective way to enclose a garden, with made-to-measure panels available to fit awkward runs and levels.

Post & rail fencing

Timber post and rail fencing for paddocks, driveways, open-plan front gardens and rural boundaries, where you want to mark a line without blocking the view.

Composite fencing

Modern composite fencing that won’t rot, warp, fade or need painting. A smart, low-maintenance choice that keeps its looks with virtually no upkeep.

Security & commercial fencing

Weld mesh, palisade and commercial panel fencing for businesses, industrial units and schools, keeping sites secure and access controlled.

Chain link fencing

Durable, cost-effective chain link fencing for garden, sports and commercial boundaries where you need a strong perimeter at a sensible price.

Agricultural & farm fencing

Stock fencing, post and wire and barbed wire fencing for farmland, smallholdings and rural properties across Nottinghamshire.

Decorative & lattice fencing

Trellis, lattice and Venetian-style panels that add privacy, height and character to a garden while still letting light and air through.

Gates to match

Timber and metal gates, single, double and side gates, designed and fitted to match your new fence for a seamless, secure finish.

Fence repairs

Replacement posts, panels and gravel boards, plus storm-damage repairs, a fast, tidy fix when only part of your fence needs putting right.

Fences built to last, whatever the weather

A fence is only as good as what’s under the ground. We set posts properly, use quality pressure-treated timber, concrete posts and gravel boards where they’ll last longest, and take the time to line and level every run so it looks right and stays standing.

  • Local, experienced fitters who install fencing day in, day out.
  • Old fence removed and cleared as part of the job.
  • One fixed price agreed up front, with no hidden extras.
  • Domestic and commercial work, fully insured, with a workmanship guarantee.

Fencing Case Study

The challenge: A homeowner in Carlton had a run of old, rotten panels leaning after a storm, with wooden posts that had failed at ground level and no privacy left in the garden.

What we did: We removed the old fence and posts, set new concrete posts and gravel boards along the boundary, and installed 1.8m close board feather edge fencing with matching post caps and a new side gate.

The result: A solid, private, low-maintenance fence installed in two days, cleared and tidied, a boundary that will stand firm through the next round of Nottinghamshire weather.

FAQs

Fencing FAQs

How long does it take to install a new fence?
Most domestic fencing jobs are completed in one to three days, depending on the length of the run, the type of fence and the ground conditions. We give you a clear timescale with your quote and keep the site tidy throughout.
Will you remove and dispose of my old fence?
Yes. We take down and remove your old fence, posts and gravel boards, and clear away all the waste, so you’re left with a clean, finished fence line and a tidy garden.
Do you use concrete or timber fence posts?
Both. Concrete posts and gravel boards give the longest life and are our usual recommendation because they resist rot, but we also fit treated timber posts where you prefer the look. We’ll advise on the best option for your fence.
How tall can a garden fence be without planning permission?
In most cases you can put up a fence up to 2 metres high without planning permission, or up to 1 metre where it borders a road or footpath. We’ll check the rules for your property before we start.
Do you repair existing fences or only install new ones?
We do both. From replacing a few storm-damaged panels, posts or gravel boards through to a full new fence line, we’re happy to help with fence repairs across Nottingham.
Do you install commercial and security fencing?
Yes. As well as garden fencing we install commercial panel, weld mesh, palisade, chain link and school fencing for businesses, industrial sites and schools across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
How much does fencing cost in Nottingham?
Fencing is usually priced by the metre and depends on the type and height of fence, the ground conditions and whether old fencing needs removing. We give you one clear, fixed price after a free site visit, with no obligation.
